Here at Pillar, we take our name very seriously; we work to create the foundations of a brighter and better future. Our commitment to empowering people and rejuvenating communities is unwavering, and we do so by facilitating social responsibility through education, employability, and engagement.
A little bit about what we do...
Founded in 2020, we’ve wasted no time in getting started and establishing ourselves as one of the UK’s leading providers of workshops, cultural events, and seminars.
Our team of creators, thinkers and doers are a remarkably empathetic and imaginative bunch, and we set ourselves apart from other community service providers through our in-depth understanding of young people and the world they’re growing up in today. In a time where social media and societal pressures can threaten individuals’ self-worth and leave them feeling disconnected from their peers, we emphasise the importance of self-appreciation, collaboration and confidence in all of the work we do.
So far, we can count Redbridge Council, Kent County Council, and Manchester City Council among our clients, and we have worked with a wide range of UK-based artists and business mentors.
We’ve run two-day culture camps, held enterprise seminars, coached young people through job interviews, and helped them find work experience. We’ve taught skills in areas ranging from cooking to budgeting to mindfulness, and operated artist’s workshops across a variety of disciplines. We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve done and incredibly excited about the work we’ll go on to do.
We’ve run entirely online events, we’ve run events in primary schools, we’ve run events in community centres… we even put on our own music festival!

Central Government & Local Authority Contracting
We’ve got a great deal of experience in working with central government and local authorities to deliver programs based around improving education and employability throughout communities. Our projects are consistently well received, and we can turn contracts around efficiently and quickly, whilst still maintaining the highest possible standard.
Corporate Social Responsibility
We believe that the best brands understand their responsibility to do good for the communities they serve, and we’re always delighted when one comes to us to collaborate on a project. Our CSR initiatives are a win-win for companies and their consumers - expanding brand exposure and creating social gains..
Business Coaching
In our experience, there are a lot of young people with untapped potential who can struggle under someone else’s routine but have an incredible work ethic when exploring their own passions and business ideas. We offer a wealth of knowledge and guidance on how to set up a business and all of the responsibilities that come along with doing so, through workshops, seminars, and 1-to-1 coaching sessions.
Empowering the Youth
When you’re young, the way the adult world works can seem cryptic and, in many ways, inaccessible. We deliver workshops filled with pragmatic information - things like cooking on a budget, techniques to use in job interviews, financial planning - as well as connecting young people with established local artists who nurture their creativity and curiosity, all in order to help them plot their own path through life.
